Hi room twelve I am currently at sandy beach at Cape Keraudren.
I have started to build up a shell collection since I have been to
middle lagoon. I have all sorts and you will see on the front page of the blog
there is a picture of my collection at eighty mile beach. The picture below was some from Cape Leveque. In our camp oven we
can cook damper and even popcorn! Leon has taken up fishing and tomorrow we are
going to see mud crabs and turtles at low tide near the mangroves. I am going
to paint the boring coloured shells gold. It has started to get cold in the
mornings because we are heading south. Enzos collection from Cape Leveque |
Hello room twelve, I am at Lake Argyle in Western Australia.
I cannot believe that Chile is beating Spain!!!
It is very hot, but luckily there is an infinity swimming pool. Mum is saying it is freezing in the pool (Yeah right).
I'm sitting in the caravan park restaurant after having three pancakes.
Has Kaito learnt to draw a triangle on Scratch?I know I can. They also taught us how to make a base ball game.
Dad says we are a 1/3 of the trip in distance now.
Also if you read the blog which we updated before I wrote this. You would know that it stated that I was writing a book. I have written about 12 pages in the writing book and have typed up 3 pages on the computer.
Going to Broome in 6 days and then down the west coast.
Leon was very sad about drinking the last Iced Coffee in the Northern Territory.
P.S
I think Spain should be caning Chile.

Hi Room 12, the snake was an olive python, it felt very dry, I wasn't scared but it did tighten around my neck towards the end of holding it but the lady took it off gently.
For the space thing, let me guess Kaito, Jayden and Andrew are in the same team?
The termite mounds wearing t-shirts, well people seem to pull over and decorate the mounds with clothes, mainly t-shirts but we did see this classic one too! Check out the home page for a photo of a massive mound!!!!
Monday 2 June
Hi everyone, we have seen so many different animals and
birds including snakes at a reptile centre and also a snake in the wild
(freaked mum out!). We learnt from a
Park Ranger about the different signs that animals leave behind like their
footprints and poos! We have been
swimming heaps in freezing cold water in gorges and spring fed hot pools. There are termite mounds all over the place
up north, they look weird and some of them have t-shirts on!
Hello Room 12, this is Enzo. To answer your question, we do a log for each place including the date, the temperature, weather and any observations (animals, insects etc) then we do a few activities like creative writing, diagrams of processes (like mining, life cycles), then some maths. No Ravi, we have not seen any koalas in the wild yet! but we did see some road signs saying to watch out for them!
I HATE FLIES! the worst was Woomera. We play cards at night and sometimes watch a movie on the laptop.

Hello Room 18, this Leon here from Uluru (Ayers Rock). How are
you all?
It is very nice and sunny hope it is too down there in New Zealand.
I am doing lots of work like math and spelling. My dad and I BIKED around Uluru, take that
LOGAN!
After dinner my family plays cards (I like all ways WIN) and
maybe watch a movie.
Life on the road is good because of how much I read.

At the Cleland Wildlife
Reserve we got to hand feed kangaroos and wallabies! Pat a koala called
Arthur, see a wombat, Tasmanian Devil, dingos, monitor lizard and cute little
potoroos!

By the way the lady at the info centre in the Adelaide Museum helped us identify the spider (Orb) and a skull we found (large feral cat) and told us about the life of a witchetty grub.

Hi, we are in Adelaide now, see Mum's post on the front page for where we have been so far! Off to see real Koalas tomorrow at a Wildlife Park. The birds are cool and we saw this spider, yet to find its name (we now know its an ORB Spider).

Hi I’m in Melbourne I’ve been here for 3 days. We went into the Victoria Markets and bought a yellow honeydew, and they taste nice like water melon. The people who wanted to sell their food really badly shouted “dollar a bag of grapes!!!!”.
It has been raining a lot and cold at night in the tent. Tomorrow we are going to Bendigo. Last night a cat (small koala?) crept in to the tent at 2:00 in the morning and slept right next to my sleeping bag till I woke up
P.S Leon is breathing.

DeleteHello Enzo and Leon, we have looked at the map. What a big journey you are going on. Have a good trip. good luck and we are looking forward to hearing from you.
ReplyDeleteJulie and Room 12.
Glad Leon is breathing. How can you be sure it was a koala? On Monday we went to the Star Lab, We thought it was awesome. It was cool how they projected the night sky onto the wall inside the dome. Sky keeps correcting Julie's mistakes. The data projector has crashed and we cant read what Julie is writing. We have football skills coaching session starting tomorrow. Looking forward to the next update. Room 12 and Julie
ReplyDeleteNice spider, we wouldn't want to find one of those in our room.Your outdoor classroom looks fun. We want to know what you do for school work. Ravi asked if you have seen any Koalas in trees outside of wild life reserves. We are about to start winter sport on Friday but apart from that life is as usual.

Hi Enzo
ReplyDeleteLoved the photo of the koala, but you haven't updated your blog. Kaitlyn had her birthday yesterday and also a brand new baby sister Isla on Tuesday. Sky, Kaito, and Jayden have been at the learning centre and been using the programme Scratch. Kaito cant believe that Chile is beating Spain in the world cup match. We have not had any winter sport because the grounds are very wet and mushy. Bye room 12
